The San Francisco Chronicle or the San Jose Mercury newspaper said in there articles about you that the Think car could go 220 miles between charging. Could it be that around town driving at slower speeds?

Scott,

Don't forget that not all cities run off of coal. Look at Las Vegas. I would hope that these car makers are considering solar powered roofs so that at least a little charge can take place while drivers are not using the car. Maybe a solar roof with an additional solar sun visor.

Just a correction, the Aptera 300 mpg car is a reality that will begin delivery in California this October (2008). It was developed in 5 years! Take that you world crushing, government bribing, corporate automotive/petroleum monsters.

I'm disturbed by that line "without harming the environment?" No car is completely environmentally friendly yet. You must consider the parts that go into the car and the energy it took to produce those parts. Plus there's the electricity that goes into the car.
