Alaska and Hawaii not on the list? I guess they are in the US so they have to be censored out. Good to see quebec make the list. Quebec??? you've got to be kidding! Even whale watching has become political!!

I live in Georgia, US. I have read that Northern Pacific Right whales winter off the southern coast of Georgia in relatively shallow water. I have seen whales off the coast of Cape Cod but my wife has not. We are planning a trip to try and see some if it's possible. Are there any Whale Watching trips out of Georgia?

Another good place to spot whales is Husavik in Iceland. Mostly humpback and minke, but also orca, blue and different kinds of dolphins. The local operator claims a ration well above 90 percent of trips that actually see whales.

We visite 3 spots from the 12
Hervey Bay Australia
Best time to watching ( april-may / august-october )
It's the best spot to see them from a boot because of the bright water.
Best spot to see them close from the shore is Hermanus South Africa.
100 % guarentee that you see whales from June until October.

Next trip plan is to see the killer whales ( Norway or Canada )
Can anybody tell me whats the best time to go watching

I find it rather strange that Newfoundland is not on this list. I can go to almost any town on the coast, stroll the shore lines and cliffs, and watch the whales playing offshore pretty much all summer long. Lots of minkes and humpbacks. You definitely should include Newfoundland on the list!

You forgot Lighthouse Park in Washington State. Its one of the only places you can go to see whales without having to be in a boat.
