We’ll start with the fainting goats. No it’s not the name of a rock band or anything like that. It really refers to the animal we all know, the goat.
Thanks to my good friends at WebEcoist, I found out that on planet Earth, there are special goats that faint. And they do so at the slightest scare. They freeze and fall over! I guess it’s like an all-you-can-eat restaurant if you’re a wolf.
Other than these fainting goats, we also have the tree climbing goats. Oh you don’t believe that one, either? You’re wrong again, because goats do climb trees (argan trees) or at least they do so, in Morocco.
I always knew they’re great “mountaineers” but never thought they’d go up in a tree up to 30 feet to see the world from above. And before you start yelling at me that’s Photoshopped, check out another video. How about that?
One last thing, just to make sure we all get the crazy-goat point here. Why is that goat, so angry about because boy it screams out sooooo loud? Talk the goat some manners before it’s too late.

Cute blog.
One thing I’d like to point out is, the youtube video of the fainting goats, early in the video it talks about the angora goat while showing a picture of a buck that is NOT an angora
Oh, and the goat is screaming like that because he is distressed and lonely – not really something I find highly amusing. From the direction he is looking, I’d hazard a guess that he can see his goat buddies down there, and he is calling to them and wanting to get to them – but cant because he is tethered.
