I just hope Honda will be able to deliver.
As a disabled person I tried to order a test drive in a Ford Focus automatic to make sure it was right for me. This was just after Christmas in Hull. Last week I drove my 15yr old Korean car to the Ford showroom. “What about my test drive?” ” I was told I could have the car before my MOT runs out in April” The slick salesman asked if I had had this in writing!— I left.
Circumstances led to me phoning the Vauxhall showroom as they had a car which suited my specification. They had, but had sold it that morning and I was the second person to want an Astra Estate that afternoon! I have ordered the Astra and it should be with me in 6 weeks with my choice of colour.
With an ageing population there is a growing demand for automatic cars with low level access boots for scooters. I was told that Ford would have to tool up specially for an automatic and I had to have the colour I was given.
And they have the nerve to ask for Government for financial support ie MY financial support.
