— Whoa! Somebody spilled their beer.
— Huh!? Whaddya mean?
— Dude, look at the foam everywhere … on the streets, under the cars, chasing the kids. Serious foam.
— Ah..um..that would be Neptune, I suppose.
— Yeah. He gets drunk sometimes, whips up a storm, spills his beer and sends foam all up and down the coastline.
— Yeah, it happened in Capetown not long ago.
— Whoa, man! Where’s my mug?
Foam storms are indeed not so commonplace. I do, however, remember a couple of times when I was driving the coastline with some friends in Japan. We were driving up the coast on the Sea of Japan side of the main island when we thought it was snowing. Problem was, it was mid summer and we were not having a night’s dream.
Then suddenly, the whole road was covered with white stuff .. bubbles .. foam .. and we whooshed right through it. Way fun! We got out and made foam balls and threw them nowhere.
The reader might think, how cool nature can be sometimes.
I think about how much fun even the Creator has with us.
Or maybe, Neptune just got drunk and spilled his beer.
What do you think? Have you ever seen a foam storm?
