Move Around Town While Staying Fit

The Rollator’s design somewhat resembles that of the Segway, though the concept is vastly different. This contraption allows you to move around town faster than regularly, using a machine that is basically a treadmill with wheels. The device has been engineered very seriously, with various settings such as a three-gear system to adjust the pace to your liking.

The designer behind this is Ooms, and the machine isn’t available for purchase yet, but it’s likely that will happen. The cool thing about the Rollator is that it multiplies your force – you’re walking slowly and calmly on the machine, while it’s actually moving at a very fast pace.

The only problem we can see with this is the psychological aspect – the machine doesn’t exactly look cool, and it’s a bit bulky as well. Also, arriving at your destination sweaty from your jogging session limits your options for using this device. But if you don’t mind being seen riding something like this, make sure you give it a try when it comes out.
