Residents of Oklahoma have the unique chance to buy an electric car for just $900 until December 31, thanks to a combination of tax credits, both federal and state. The vehicle in question is the Kandi Coco, which holds a standard retail price of $10,600, and drops all the way down to $865.
The state is offering a 50 tax credit, while the federal one is $4,435, which is what causes the car’s stunningly low cost. As for the car itself, it’s not a vehicle meant for the road, as it can’t go over 25 mph – but it’s perfect for roaming around the neighborhood. Charging time is about seven hours, the car comes with AM/FM radio and is available in four colors – red, blue, black and yellow.
At the standard price, this vehicle isn’t much of a deal. But for just under $900, it can be a great addition to your line of green purchases, and it can save you a lot of time going around your neighborhood. Definitely consider it if you live in OK and have some money to spend.
