orcageno luxury superyacht Orcageno Concept Luxry Yacht is a Hydrogen Diesel Electric Hybrid

The Orcageno concept is a luxury superyacht created by Pharos Marine, an Egyptian naval architecture and design studio. The luxurious yacht has a length of 60 meters, and power for the yacht would come from a hydrogen diesel-electric system. Designers of the Orcageno put an impressive range of 13000 nautical miles for the vessel.

Designers expect that using hydrogen as fuel will be able to provide the yacht with three times more energy as compared to diesel; that hydrogen does not produce pollutants like diesel is the cherry on the cake. The yacht has been designed to offer least resistance to the water, and gets certain design inspiration from the killer whale and the sperm whale.

It will be able to move at a maximum speed of 18 knots, though the 13000 nautical miles range is based on a cruising speed of 10 knots. The luxury yacht has features like a spa, health care center, sun deck jacuzzi, leather clad lounge area, dual level swimming pool, and a hydraulically operated glass sunroof.
