GM has unveiled three new concepts to give the world a look at what urban driving in the future may be like. Named Jiao, Miao and Xiao, the three concepts have the same electric drivetrain, but they’re all different shapes in an attempt to show the flexibility the drivetrain offers. Co-developed by GM and its Chinese partner Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp., the EN-V concepts are built on GM’s P.U.M.A. concept that was displayed last year and drew inspiration from the Segway.

All these concepts have two wheels, weigh in the neighborhood of 1,100 pounds, have less than five feet length, and are filled to the brim with technology. The two-seaters will be able to drive up to 40 miles on a charge, which should not be a problem for the areas they are intended to be driven in. Plus, their small size will reduce traffic and congestion, and since they have a lot of sensors, accidents would be unlikely to happen.
