Most of the times we “Open Happiness,” the Coca Cola bottles made from PET end up in landfills, which admittedly, isn’t quite good for the happiness part. Aluminum furniture creators Eneco partnered with Coca Cola for a better use of these bottles, and created the 111 Navy Chair, which is a version of the furniture maker’s well known line of Navy Chairs. The best part about the new chairs though, is that they are made from recycled Coca Cola plastic bottles.

The chair is scheduled for a debut next month at Milan. True to their name, each of these chairs is made of 111 PET Coca Cola bottles. The chair will enter production in June, and Eneco hopes to convert 3,000,000 plastic bottles into chairs every year. PET bottles used in the chairs are recycled by a factory owned by The Coca Cola Company, which sure does seem to be doing its job well.
