Supercars are all high end exotic cars with performance greatly superior to that of its contemporaries. There’s news that Bugatti has actually built an 800bhp battery-powered supercar that exemplifies the balance between environmental and dynamic performance.
The working model which is based on the chassis of a Bentley Continental GT features an advanced lithium-ion battery pack and two enormously powerful electric motors – which delivering 1,622 lb-ft of torque from 0mph. While the prototype has been developed for technology demonstration and may never be displayed in public, the engineers are still facing problems with keeping the car charged over longer periods of time while at the same time exploring its maximum performance potential.
