The star singer Rihanna, who tops the hit list of PETA, as the “Worst Dressed” celebs in terms of cruelty to animals, seems to be on the track of a change. And the most notable fact in this regard is, PETA is also endorsing her new venture.
Rihanna is all set to launch her new fragrance Reb’l Fleur (rebel flower) on the 25th of this month. She has created the fragrance by teaming up with Parlux. It is a cruelty-free company and has found its way into the good list of PETA long before, for their policy to avoid animal testing. This happens to be the core reason why the animal rights organization is extending their full support for Rihanna’s new launch.
PETA expressed their happiness in endorsing the new cruelty-free direction of Rihanna. The senior vice president of PETA, Dan Mathews even sent her a bouquet of flowers as a token of appreciation.
He is all praise for the singer and said that Rihanna’s decision to team up with Parlux is as kind to animals as her music is to ears.
He further added that by renouncing animal tests, Parlux is proving that beauty doesn’t have to have an ugly side. He also hoped that Rihanna’s decision to go with a company that is PETA approved may reflect her feelings on the matter.
