A vintage boutique and a dress shop in a double decker? That is what Lodekka – previously Ginny -  is doing after transporting people of Liverpool over the years. The overhauled vehicle is parked at Portland, Oregon.

Most public transportation vehicles end up in the junkyard or scrapped for parts, but this one seems to be lucky enough to have a long life indeed. Lodekka is now filled with clothing, objects d’art and other curious.

Erin Sutherland is Lodekka’s owner and found the bus in Springfield, Oregon. The Bristol double decker was built in July 1965 and after all those years of public transporting, in 1982 it was brought to the US after being bought by Decathlon Athletic Club in Burnsville, Minnesota.

As part of the refurbishment Ginny got a fresh coat of white paint, red Lodekka lettering and an interior full of snazzy objects, from shoes and shirts to skirts and more. If you ever land in Portland, make a shopping spree to Lodekka.
