Artega SE, the exceptional electric variant of the mid-engined GT model from Artega, debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. The manufacturer claims it as an unmistakable design by renowned designer Henrik Fisker, the same person behind the BMW Z8 and the Aston Martin Vantage.
This sport electric model features two electric motors mounted on the rear axle. Both the power sources operate independently, churning out a total output of 280 kW (380 PS / 275 bhp).
The automobile attains acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 4.3 seconds compared to the original GT model’s time of 4.8. The new concept offers a top speed of over 250 km/h (155 mph).
Artega SE offers a range of 300 km (186 miles) on the European test cycle (NEDC – New European Driving Cycle). The manufacturer claims of a more “comfortable” driving style attaining a range of 200 km. Average fuel consumption according to Euro 5 standards is estimated to be just 9.2 liters per 100 kilometers.
The auto is equipped with a 37 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack with a nominal voltage of 350 V. Moreover, it gets full charged within a time span of 90 minutes at a high-powered charging station.
This electric variant weighs in at 1400 kg (3086 lbs), about 100 kg (220 lbs), making it a remarkable lightweight model. It also makes the sports car one of the lightest in its class.
You may notice that its weight is less than the GT model. Above all, the vehicle displays the length of a compact car (4.015 meters) and the width of a luxury limousine (1.88 meters), altogether accounting for an appealing design.
