From now, it will act as an integrated service provider, tackling all infrastructure requirements for plug-in vehicles.

E+ aims at providing customers with access to a dynamically expanding network of charging stations, handle leasing and rentals of plug-in autos, tackle routine maintenance of vehicles, provide automotive insurance and offer roadside assistance. As part of this, it calls for the installation of at least 300 charging stations and the establishment of operations in 14 Polish cities by the end of 2013.

The major partner of E+ is Polenergia SA – a holding company that manages operating assets in the energy sector. It also supervises subsidiary companies and grants them strategic, technological and administrative support. The strategy of the group is to achieve leading positions in niche market segments with attractive growth prospects.

Naturally, Alva Technologies is the minority partner, which provided E+ with charging stations, software systems to manage the charging network and other solutions for E+, related to electric mobility infrastructure.

Thus Alva Technologies has proved to be a leading electric mobility solutions integrator, which provides EV infrastructure solutions across Europe, Middle East and Africa.  Currently, the firm is reported to have been developing electric vehicle infrastructure in the EMEA with a special focus on emerging markets.

Let’s hope for more such green innovations from E+.
