This would sound exciting to all you hybrid car lovers out there. As you all know, carmaker Subaru had been working on a hybrid, and now confirmation comes on a sure arrival of the vehicle.
The company has confirmed that it is all geared up to hit the hybrid automotive segment and the first vehicle of that nature will roll out on to the street by year 2013.
The Subaru hybrid car will be an undisclosed gas-electric vehicle. Details trickling in also point to the fact that the car might get some Toyota treatment on the hybrid technology front.
By 2013, the car will come first on the Japanese street. That makes us wait for an official statement from Subaru as to whether the hybrid automobile would come to the US shores at all.
There are speculations Subaru might get inspired by its own Hybrid Tourer concept (pictured) which was showcased in Tokyo Motor in 2009. We think we will just wait to hear more on Subaru’s new upcoming hybrid. Watch this space.
