Plug in hybrids are a rage these days. Don’t you also think so? Adding to the many models that are coming to our terrain, here’s yet another vehicle you would love to drive. Mitsubishi is planning to lift the wraps off its new plug in version of the Outlander Sport.
Expected to come in 2013, the new Outlander Sport plug in hybrid is expected to be the car maker’s second electrified offering in the US. If you would remember, the concept car was first shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009.
Mitsubishi had then said that the vehicle will top performance levels when it comes to environmental and on-road performance.
The car which will come sporting an electrified power train that combines a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and the necessary hybrid hardware to a lithium-ion battery pack, will be seen by auto enthusiasts as a must in today’s environment.
We are looking forward to driving the car by 2013. Aren’t you too?
