Moto Undone: A Silent Electric Motor Bike

September 16, 2011 / No Comments

Joey Ruiter has a different idea when it comes to bikes. After the Super Minimal City Bike, this time around he is coming up with another unique bicycle concept. Christened Moto Undone, the bike comes with a minimalist mirrored body that disappears silently through the streets.

Powered by the new electric motor technology, the bike exhibits a different concept of two-wheeled transportation. The polished aluminium sheet covers the whole sporty features and the smart mechanics of the bike. The motorcycle with no accessories is not even painted showing out the glittering aluminium structure.

Unconventional compared with the typical bike concept, the other drivers can only see the rider when passing through the landscapes. As the reflective aluminium body hides their vision, they will feel an invisible concept, on which Ruiter is still working on.

Here is a small outlay of the mechanics of the vehicle. The two-wheeler powered by a 1000 watt 48 volt electric hub motor can cover 90 miles. Through a smartphone with suited apps, you will get the details like speed, GPS tracking and more on the screen.

You will have the chance to see the Joey Ruiter’s incredible ideas and designs, including the Moto Undone at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Michigan from September 21 to October 8.
