Fisker’s $95,900-plus hybrid sedan, the Fisker Karma, has debuted on the hit CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men. The Karma will have a reoccurring role being driven by Walden Schmidt, the internet mogul played by Ashton Kutcher. We hear no financial deal has been made between Fisker and CBS for the appearance of the car in the show.
Fisker claims that the producers of the show showed interest in the Karma and had worked with the company’s vice-president of sales and marketing, Marti Eulberg, for the vehicle’s debut.
For those of you who do not know, the Fisker Karma comes with a 20kW lithium-ion battery which powers two electric motors. The motors are capable of producing 300 kW (402 hp / 408 PS) and 1,300 Nm (959 lb/ft) of torque.
The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). It is capable of travelling up to 80.5 km (50 miles) on electricity alone.
A turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine recharges the battery when it is depleted. Check out the CBS website here for a peek at the car in action on the show.
