Varley Electric Vehicles has surprised the Aussies and the world by introducing evR450, an aerodynamic styled electric supercar with a wrap-around greenhouse and butterfly doors.
The car, marketed as Australia’s first electric supercar, brags a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour (or 124 MPH) and a zero to 100 km/h acceleration in 3.8 seconds.
Though the entry level model is said to have a range of approximately 150 km (93 miles), the other version claims an amazing max speed of 300 km (186 miles). However, the company is not allowing anyone to drive the car or even take photos under the hood.
This super car which is expected to hit the roads by early next year should cost somewhere around 200,000 AUD ($207,120 USD / €150,045).
Like you, many around the world are waiting to gain access to this super car’s steering wheels. But let’s wait till the beauty hits the road.
