This might be something you are seeing for the first time. The iNature for iPhone is a biodegradable cover designed for the Apple device. iNature has been designed by Italian firms, Med Computer and Biomood, and the idea is really novel and relevant to the time we live in. Such innovations are the only hope we have, since we are on the verge of a huge catastrophe posed by the pollution problem. The material used in the making of iNature is Apinat, a native Italian bio-plastic. The companies claim that the cover protects the iPhone from scratches and falls, and fits well around your iPhone.
It won’t easily wear out in humidity or heat, and can withstand even harsh climate. But if you choose to dump it, it will be degraded about 90 percent in compost within 180 days, without adding much stress on ecology.
The iNature cover was showcased at the Consumer Electronics show 2012, atLas Vegaslast week. It was one among the devices crowned with the CES Innovations 2012Design and Engineering Awards. In that event, we also spotted iNature BioRolly, a biodegradable accessory used to wrap up cords and cables.
The iNature covers are available in three modules, packed up in various tints. The product fits well in iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and 4S. Paying $19.90, it can be taken away from the product website.
