Panasonic Eyes Green Market in Middle East and Africa with New Range

Electronics major Panasonic is eyeing a major chunk of the Middle East and Africa markets with a new range of eco-friendly products. Ranging from Viera televisions to Lumix G series cameras the list includes audio visual equipment, air conditioners and air purifiers. And, all of them sport the green tag.

In the product line up are the first ever tropical inverter air-conditioners, which can cool 1.5 times faster than the conventional air conditioners and saves 30 per cent more energy.

Meanwhile, the eco-friendly Viera televisions feature improved picture quality with a cutting-edge design and serve as a smart interactive communication device with easy access to the internet. The company also has plans to launch larger 44 and 55 inch LED TVs.

The Econavi washing machines add to the Panasonic list of eco products, and boast capabilities like reduction in wash time and cut in power consumption by 45 per cent. Further, the devices claim to consume 40 per cent less water.

Going by what the Panasonic top honchos have in mind, the company is going a step ahead  in pursuing eco ideas for lifestyles and hopes that their new products will meet the needs of their customers in a more greener way.
