You would agree that some of the car buffs out there were not very enthusiastic about the Rimac Concept One when it was first shown. But guess what, the latest teaser video flaunting the car’s sprint through the highway has everything to lure back the detractors.
It was only last week Rimac Automobili announced the specs and cost of its limited edition plug-in – Concept One. The company has also confirmed 88 units of this super car featuring a price tag of $980,000 (€742,000) will hit the road soon.
We feel the battery powered car has the mettle to deserve its ambitious price tag. The Concept One can attain a 100km/h from the zero in just 2.8 seconds. The car also equips a Vredestein Ultract Vorti high performance tires.
If that is not enough, the car has under the hood as many as four electric motors that can grant a total power output of 1088 PS (800 kW / 1074 hp) along with the tremendous 3800 Nm (2802 lb-ft) of torque.
The Concept One weighs only 1650 kg (3638 lb), that is much less than the Bugatti Veyron, and has a maximum speed range of 305 km/h (190 mph).
This super EV will not bother you much on the charging front as it can run close to 600 km (373 miles) on a single plug. Guess we now have one more monster that can compete with the likes of some kingpins in the industry.
