Nissan e-NV200 Set for Production; Will Go on Sale in 2013
We will soon get to see Nissan’s new e-NV200 Concept driving in to the market place. The car manufacturer has announced its plans to commence production of the EV.
The concept is said to be a genuine breakthrough in commercial vehicles, and the new edition may be seen as underlining Nissan’s leadership within the electric vehicle segment.
Well, we do not have much details on the specs as for now. However, it has been learnt that the model will use the powertrain components of the Nissan’s Leaf model.
This is most advanced one and the vehicle would possess the range same as that of Leaf. The new automobile will have a functional and roomy interior. It also promises class-leading running and maintenance costs.
Along with announcement of the confirmation of production plans, the company also stated that the electric van would go on sale next year.
As per current plans of the manufacturer, the production version would be built at the company’s plant in Barcelona, Spain.
