BMW i Sub-Brand Sees Crisis
Lots of reports regarding the crisis being faced by BMW’s i sub-brand have been popping. The latest news on that front is that the automaker is considering contingency plans regarding sales.

There are many external factors that have led to such a situation. This includes lack of a recharging infrastructure too. It has been pointed out that the austerity moves in Europe which could result in less electric vehicle or hybrid tax credits can also be the reason.
BMW’s original goal was to sell 100,000 i3s and 10,000 i8s annually. However, the automaker is now being forced to reconsider the scenario, we guess.
Besides, we have stumbled upon info stating that the carmaker would be launching the models because it would cost them even more to abandon the projects as of now.
The eco-friendly models launched by rival brands have already gained praise for their astounding features.
