Nissan Leaf Holds 95 Percent of its Value Even After a Year

Want to give away your Nissan Leaf? Well, this seems to be the best time. A recent report in this regard says that the vehicle at present holds more value, that too more than Chevrolet Volt or Toyota Prius.

The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA)’s recent guide has made this conclusion and further adds that Nissan Leaf holds 95 percent of its value even after a year.

During the initial months of the current year, Nissan sold 2,103 units of the model Leaf in the US. alone. This accounts for twice of the total amount of sales it made a year earlier.

For the entire 2011, Nissan sold about 9,700 Leafs in the US. The sales figures for the model in the month of May will be released soon.

At the same time, Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in holds 90 percent of its value and a Toyota Prius hybrid hold 88 percent of its value .
