Ford C-Max Claims to be More Fuel-Efficient Than Prius V
We have seen most of the new gasoline-electric hybrid models getting compared to Toyota Prius V. Ford C-Max was no different. Quoting the Prius V in its news release about the C-Max hybrid many times, Ford claimed that C-Max will end Prius V’s monopoly over the gasoline-electric hybrid category.

Ford claims the model will get an EPA rating of 47 MPG in city driving and 44 MPG on the highway. It comes with a combined (electric + gasoline) horsepower of 188.
The starting price of the hybrid is $25,995. This is $1,300 lower than its rival model, unless Toyota retaliates with a price cut.
Do you think C-Max will beat the Prius V? Do let us know.
