Looking to drive from Paris to Budapest without that troubling problem of refueling? Opel has the ideal car for you. General Motors’ Opel is offering its Insignia with an engine that can run on Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as well as petrol.
This amazing engine, which is available in all three of the Insignia’s body styles, is a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-banger.
The Opel Insignia delivers about 140 horsepower and uses 7.6 liters of gas per 100 kilometers, or about 31 miles per gallon, as per the lightly more lenient European driving standards.
More importantly, with both the gas tank and LPG tank filled, the car has a leg-cramp-inducing range of 1,056 miles,
This will get the driver from the French to Hungarian capital cities with almost about 100 miles to spare.
The Insignia with the LPG option will be priced at 28,150 euros ($34,266 in the United States). So tell us, isn’t it time for that dream drive?
