Ford has recently introduced the all new Ford Fusion Energi Plug-in Hybrid. Considered the most fuel efficient car, the hybrid vehicle was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show earlier on. The Ford Fusion Energi Plug-in Hybrid surpassed expectations as it was only expected to get up to 100 mpg. But Ford has announced the official EPA rating of the car and the vehicle is expected to get up to 108 MPGe in the city, which makes it America’s most fuel-efficient sedan.

You can really know more about the quality of this hybrid if you are comparing it with the other luxury plug-in hybrids like the Chevrolet Volt, which gets only 98 MPGe (combined) or the Toyota Prius Plug-In that offers 95 MPGe.

So basically, the Fusion Energi beats most of its rivals without even breaking a sweat and due to that reason the 2013 Fusion has been voted as the number one Green Car of the Year. The car has even been certified by the US Environmental Protection Agency at up to 108 MPGe, which makes the Fusion Energi Plug-in eligible for America’s most fuel-efficient sedan.

The Fusion Energi is sure to accelerate the company’s sales numbers by at least twice. Ford focuses on fuel economy and customer satisfaction, and the brand new hybrid is its fifth electrified vehicle to launch in the past year.  It is expected that the car would save customers an estimated $6,850 in fuel costs.
