Daimler, the German automaker, has introduced a newly designed Smart Fortwo at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. The new smart package is named ‘Cityflame’ and features eye catchy yellow and black accents on the interior and exterior.
The vehicle comes with pearlescent flame yellow body panels and black safety panels and roof. The wheels of the ‘Cityflame’ are black-painted and fitted with 15 inch black wide tires.
The interior of the vehicle also follows the black and yellow combination. The car comes with black leather seats and yellow inserts and stitching.
The leather wrapped three-spoke steering wheel is finished with yellow stitching and even the floor mats are yellow in color.
The CityFlame edition is based on the Passion trim, and includes features like electric windows, air conditioning with automatic temperature control and a transparent panoramic roof with a sunblind.
According to Daimler, only 2,400 Cityflame editions are going to be manufactured. And all these vehicles will comes with either a 71 hp engine or a turbo-charged 84 hp engine.
The starting price for the Cityflame is 14,490 euros for the coupe and 17,580 ($23,500) euros for the cabrio.
