Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is now in to wine. According to People Magazine, the couple will be releasing their organic wine line in this March 15. The new wine is dubbed Miraval, which is the name of their estate and will launch with a 2012 vintage pink rose. As per the reports, the elegant bottles will feature the label ‘Bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin’.
For those who are curious about Perrin, it refers to Marc Perrin, a French winemaker. His family owns Chateau Beaucastel in the Rhone Valley and now he is involved with Pitt and Jolie in this new venture.
Perrin’s family is well respected in the wine-making business and they pioneer in the organic wine making from 1950s.
The Miraval estate is located in Provence at an altitude of 1,150 feet and it already uses sustainable methods to manage its grapes and wines. The estate’s previous owner was released several prize-winning wines like Miraval’s Pink Floyd and the name is a tribute to the renowned rock band Pink Floyd.
According to Perrin, Jolie and Pitt were keen to ensure the quality and character of their wine. Well, we know that anything which comes from Brad and Jolie won’t go worthless.
