Right now, Bollore supplies its Bluecar EV’s to the Paris car-sharing service Autolib, which was the best-selling electric vehicle service in France in the year 2012.

The Bluecar vehicle has a 30 kWh lithium polymer battery and produces a top speed of 130 km/h (81 mph). It attains a speed of 0-60 km/h (37 mph) in just 6.3 seconds.

The price for the Bluecar is 10 percent less than its competitor, the Renault Zoe, which is priced at 13,650 Euros.

The vehicle will continue to be available at Autolib, where it carries a flexible 3-month contract and available at a rate of €500/month (US$663). But this pricing includes insurance and charging of the vehicle at Autolib stations.

This car sharing service has almost 65,000 subscribers, and it supports more than 4,000 parking spaces in Paris.
