Sales of seal fur have been continuing unabated, and actor Jude Law isn’t a happy man. Even as efforts to halt the killing of seals for fur don’t gather momentum, Law has knocked the doors of the World Trade Organization to try and chuck out seal fur from the stores of the European Union.
As you all know, the WTO has been doing all it can do to keep seal hunting under control. Realizing that more efforts are needed on that front, the British born actor has joined hands with the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to take his concern to the WTO.
Law has shot off a letter to the WTO to keep seal hunting at bay. In his mail he has made clear his concern over the killing of baby seals for fur. The industry that thrives on this cruel act can fade out by all means.
He has noted in his letter that he would want to urge the WTO panel to uphold the ban on seal hunting, and that is what the people around the European Union would also wish for. Dont you also want to stay with Jude Law in his efforts to save baby seals?
