Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles has launched its e20 green car in Nepal. E20 is a fully automatic functioning car that comes with boost-mode system for rapid acceleration. The car comes across as an urban mobility solution, according to reports.
According to the car maker, EVs could help a sustainable zero emission society, and in the process reduce environmental degradation, pollution related health concerns, climate change, energy security and combat rising oil prices. The e20 is seen as an alternative to fossil fuel-driven vehicles.
The e20 would not only offer sustainable mobility solutions, but also place a choice in the hands of customers.
The e20 has been built in such a way that users can access the car with a remote system via a smart phone application. Charging is possible with any 15Amp power socket found in a normal house.
Mahindra has also claimed that on five hours of charging the vehicle can run for over 100km. The high-end e20 features full digital-cluster, electrically-operated wing mirrors, keyless entry, projector head lamps, LED tail lamps, reverse camera, 4JBL speakers and two tweeters.
The customers can choose the color of their liking from among a variety that include Arctic Silver, Coral Blue, Eco Green, Oceanic White, Spanish Red and Sunfire Yellow hues. The e-car also features connectivity, convenience and mobility with minimal cost of ownership.
