A miniature aquaponics ecosystem that uses nutrients from fish waste to grow herbs and other plants is round the bend. Designed and developed by Eric and his team at Aqua Design Innovations, the innovation aims at using the ecosystem as a platform to raise environmental awareness and to educate people about aquaponics, a green, efficient and sustainable method of food production.
In case you haven’t heard as yet, Aqua Design Innovations has as its mission development of innovative methods of freshwater aquarium installations to create unique aquatic ecosystems
Eric and team have been into this for years now, and they make use of well equipped platforms with the best methods, products, and sources for livestock, plants, driftwood, and stones.
The latest miniature aquaponics ecosystem is now heading for Kickstarter, so that Eric’s dreams see light soon. You can get a closer look at Aqua Design Innovations ideas on their Facebook page here and on Kickstarter when they find a place on that platform.
