Chennai Super Kings had a fair share of bad luck this season as they lost their first match against Kings XI Punjab, despite a score that crossed the magic of 200 runs.
Their stars Dwayne Smith and Brendon McCullum did the trick, but DD’s star Glenn Maxwell just managed to steal the thunder. Smith and McCullum partnership is what that will matte today, and there is Suresh Raina to look up, as well.
Delhi Daredevils too had no silver lining, losing their first match against RCB. However, time-being skipper skipper Dinesh Karthik and squad made a comeback in the second match against KKR, and with star JP Duminy, they won their confidence back.
Their regular skipper Kevin Pietersen had indicated in their match against KKR that he is fit to return, but nothing is clear about thus, the status of his finger injury and his presence is unknown.
JP Duminy scored 67 and 52 respectively in both matches played and expected to fire with their stand-in skipper, Ross Taylor and “may-make-it” Kevin Pietersen.
With high temperatures, no rains are expected today!
