RR needs a win here to get to the top four, while for the defending champions, there isn’t much hope with just three wins of the ten matches played so far, unless of course they win all the matches to reach the Playoffs.

The toss and other details will be posted here shortly. Follow the live scores of RR vs MI.

Rajasthan Royals can be called lucky to get something out of every player this season, which has worked for them in many ways. Their runs have come from all corners, while Ajinkya Rahane has taken the stand where needed, mostly in the middle part of the batting line. If he clicks again, RR can be game against MI’s bowling attack.

For RR, the partnerships are going to be important, and bowlers will be tipped to avoid the extras for sure, especially after the match against DD.

Mumbai Indians will look up to Kieron Pollard again, and then there is skipper Rohit Sharma, who is looking in fantastic form, despite not having extreme knocks this season.

They will need to look for boundaries today and avoid the ones and twos here, especially if they are taking the chance first for a destructive score.

There can be expected changes in the team with Lasith Malinga leaving for the national team of Sri Lanka. Here, one expects either of Krishmar Santokie or Marchant de Lange to take on the charge that Malinga may have to leave for today.

MI would want no dot balls today, after the debacle against Kolkata Knight Riders in the last match. Corey Anderson must get a few boundaries, which is expected of him.
