Here on GreenPacks we’re passionate about everything that involves a cleaner life on Earth. It’s true that our lives depend on a greener future, but the change should come from within. We first need to be good stewards to ourselves and then to Mother Nature, not the other way around.
So who’s behind GreenPacks?
Alex Ion – Chief Editor
Living in Eastern Europe, Alex has been a journalist/blogger and a business man for more than three years now.
When not writing about amazing travel places or green technologies, Alex is traveling Europe. Whether it be by subway, tram or bus, Alex wants to visit every little street, shop or bar he can find and leave the smallest carbon footprint he can.
Alex founded GreenPacks in March 2008, and then asked Bill to join the team in May 2008. And speaking of Bill …

Bill Belew – Contributing Editor
Bill has been blogging for over three years. Having spent nearly 20 years in Asia he has his pulse on the goings on in those countries especially when it comes to leading the green revolution.
Bill cares deeply about the environment and our world as he feels it is a gift to be treasured and nurtured. If you care, read along.
“Better yet, share why you care and how you can make a difference, too.”
Jose Philips – Lead writer
Located in Kerala, India, Jose is an experienced journalist who has been writing almost all his life. After 22 years with The Indian Express (one of the biggest English newspapers in India), 4 years with the Deccan Herald and more than 3 years with Rubber Asia, Jose suits perfect to GreenPacks because of his “green” vision.
In his small way, Jose is trying to spread the message of conservation, simple living, and prevention of cruelty to animals.
Martin – Writer
Martin has been a long reader on GreenPacks and recently decided to hop on and help the team. An experienced blogger for years now, Martin thinks that living a greener life is a big test to take. He’s learning while he’s writing, which is a great experience.
