
Tafoni Floating Homes is an idea that would keep you in sort of a holiday mood, throughout the day. The idea is to take housing to the water, living in houseboats that are mobile, don’t use land and so don’t require implied expenses and constructions like foundations. This concept mobile phone from designer Daizi Zheng would help in greatly reducing electronic waste, and even bring a smile to the faces of cola manufacturers, if it ever gets built, that is. For its power, the mobile phone utilizes soda, or any other kind of sugary liquid that is rich in carbohydrates. A bio battery is what makes this possible, and this goes on to imply that conventional batteries, which quickly turn to mounds of electronic waste, and use up a lot of natural resources and electricity may pose less of a problem.

The Solar Shelf Concept was a design entry to the Green Life Competition, and has come up as one of the top three designs submitted to the contest. A basic requirement of the competition was that the design entered should be environment and design centric, and that the entry should not be unrealistic.

The Wind Lamp is a concept that could help the environment and natural resources in a number of ways. This green lamp is designed to serve as a street lamp, and it could come in very handy at places with sufficient wind power. The lamp basically consists of LEDs and a wind power generator.
