Spitfish, the company known for its gaming peripherals, have announced new ‘green’ peripherals.  Three new blue and black devices have been announced, which are to line up with the FragFx Shark for PlayStation 3, PC, and Mac. The green aspect comes from the devices using power saving technology, which ensures that a single AA battery holds good for more than 50 gaming hours and will give more than 500 hours of standby time.

The company will be present at Gamescon 2010, which is scheduled to run in Germany from August 18 to 22. The event will be the venue for Spitfish to show off the Shark line and also exhibit FragFx devices for the first time. Gaming enthusiasts will get to see the FragFx Piranha and the FragFx Barracuda, both of which have been offered for the PlayStation 3. Also on display will be the FragFx Evolution Wireless, a dual-handed programmable motion controller that will be used in sports games.
